Thank you for using ReaderPró (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
ReaderPró is designed to respect your privacy. The App does not collect, store, or share any personal information with third parties.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 User Content
The App allows you to import, store, read, listen to, organize, pin, and delete digital content such as books, PDF files, audiobooks, and related files (“User Content”).
Your User Content is stored only in:
- Apple iCloud (only if you enable iCloud synchronization)
- Local storage on your device (Core Data and the file system)
This content is never transmitted to the developer, is not accessible by the developer, and is not analyzed, monitored, or processed in any way. iCloud synchronization is optional and fully controlled by you.
2.2 App Settings
The App may store a limited amount of non-personal data required for functionality and customization, such as:
- Selected reading theme or color style
- Appearance preferences (original, paper, black, or white mode)
- Library organization and categories
- Pinned books or files
- Recently deleted items
- Sorting and display preferences
This information is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and Core Data. No personal data or identifiers are collected, shared, or linked to your identity.
3. iCloud Sync
If the user enables iCloud for NoteBookPró, notes are synchronized using NSPersistentCloudKitContainer (Apple CloudKit).
This means:
- Your data is stored securely in your private iCloud database.
- The developer cannot view, access, or manage any of your iCloud data.
- Syncing is controlled entirely by Apple’s infrastructure.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not use:
- Analytics tools
- Advertising services
- Tracking technologies
- Third-party SDKs
The App does not share data with any third parties.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information and can be safely used by children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
6. Data Security
All your data stays on your device or in your private iCloud account. Apple provides encryption and security for all CloudKit and iCloud storage.
7. Your Rights
Because the App does not collect personal information, there is no data stored by the developer and nothing to request, modify, or delete.
You can delete all of your notes at any time directly from the App or by removing the App from your device.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available at the same URL.
